1. PURPOSE OF SERVICES

The Client understands that Minisnk Sound Lab Recording Studio (MSL Recording Studio) may use artificial intelligence music generation tools, to assist in creating song make over demos, reference tracks, or songwriting materials (“AI Demo”). 
Client acknowledges and agrees that:

• AI-generated music is intended for demo, reference, and creative purposes only

• AI Demo outputs may not be fully original or exclusive. If your song submission sounds like another artist or song to begin with, there is a good chance the "Song Make Over" will as well.

3. OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT

Client understands:

• AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection under current U.S. law

• Minisink Sound Lab Recording Studio makes no guarantees of ownership or exclusivity for AI-generated material

• Any original lyrics, melodies, or creative contributions provided by the Client remain the Client’s property

4. COMMERCIAL USE

• If the Client intends to commercially release any material derived from the AI Demo, the Client assumes all responsibility for:

  • Ensuring legal compliance

  • Securing any necessary rights

• The Studio is not responsible for legal issues arising from distribution, monetization, or copyright claims

5. RECOMMENDATION FOR FINAL PRODUCTION

Minisink Sound Lab Recording Studio strongly recommends that AI-generated demos be:

• Re-recorded

• Reproduced using traditional production methods

to create a fully original and protectable master recording.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Minisink Sound Lab Recording Studio shall not be held liable for:

• Copyright disputes

• Claims of similarity or infringement

• Platform takedowns, demonetization, or distribution issues

Client agrees to use AI Demo content at their own risk.

7. PAYMENT & SERVICES

All fees paid to Minisink Sound Lab Recording Studio or Michael Mathisen  are for:

• Time

• Creative services

• Use of tools (including AI Tools)

Fees are non-refundable, regardless of future usability or legal status of the AI Demo.

8. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By executing payment for our services, the Client confirms that they:

• Understand the nature and limitations of AI-generated music

• Accept all associated risks

• Release the Minisink Sound Lab Recording Studio from all liability related to AI-generated content
  ALL SALES ARE FINAL
